BLOOM
Updated: Mar 24
In my mind's eye, the Lord showed me a garden.
At first, there was greenery. I saw plants and bushes stand-alone and in groups.

Then, I began to see flowers, all kinds of flowers. Perennials and annuals. I saw many blooming fully and some at different stages.
These flowers were beautiful for sight and for the smell.
Then, I began to see fruit and vegetables growing and doing well.
I sensed this:
We bloom as a beautiful example.
We bloom for others to see and smell.
We bloom for personal growth.
We flourish as a sweet-smelling aroma unto the Lord.
Some blooms are for a season, and some are for life.
Some need more care, weeding, nutrients, and water than others.
Some blooms will grow again and again.
Just like grass, bushes, and flowers-
As we continue to grow in the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in us.

Then a time comes when we will produce fruit and nutrients that feed ourselves and others.
For what God produces through us is not just for us.
Colossians 1:3-6, New King James Version We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
